Mother's Day

Mother's Day is such a special day.  Not only for Mother's, but for the entire family.  It serves as a wonderful opportunity to show honor and appreciation to our God, for the the person who was an agent of His will in us being born.
Regardless of your plight on Mother's day, perhaps you have an amazing, Godly mother; or perhaps she is already passed from this life, or perhaps you have never met your biological mother, and so long to do so, God saw fit to allow her the gift of you, and you the gift of her. Maybe you are a woman, longing for the gift of giving life, and have not yet had the privilege.  Let me encourage you to be thankful for what you have, and the lives that you currently speak 'life' into, each and every day.
Be thankful this Mother's day.  As it is with my mother and mother-in-law, it's not what you 'get them' for a holiday or special occasion that really matters, it's that you have given them a place in your heart, always and forever.  As my mother would say, I still love you... 'a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck'.  Enjoy your Mother's day, in whatever state you find yourself in.  Be thankful to God, that you are alive, and have experienced the gift of a Mother.
